Good win for Dan and Neal, looking sharp, could be wrong but don't think they faced a break point. A few doubles wins will shake Dan's rustiness off in the singles. Keep going guys :GBflag:

:crying: So close. Sooo close. Poor Neal will be having nightmares about the 11-11 point. Such a pity Dan didn't make Tokyo (no offence to Jamie).

YES!! GSM! Take a bow Joe and Ranjeev. What a mtb, 4 return winners from Joe. I knew if they had the belief they definitely had the game. So pleased after the Wimbledon heartbreaker. Well now they have taken Mektic and Pavic down they know they have a great shot at Cincy and NY as well. Great timing! So over the moon for them, especially lovely Joe.

Steven as ever, with the stats:
"As well as it being his own first Masters title, Joe Salisbury is only the second British player ever to win the Canadian Open men's doubles title since it started in 1924, and the first for 60 years, since Mike Sangster won it with American Whitney Reed in 1961! :-)"

So thrilled for Rajeev and Joe! Joe especially looked super thrilled to win his first Masters. And I am super thrilled it came in Toronto. App. Joe is the first Brit to win a dubs title since 1961!!!
I wish I could have been there to watch it live. I went on Thursday and we were not allowed to go out of the main stadium, alas, and so were not able to watch ANY doubles. :trophy:
