I watched the replay of this - to me it seemed to be that Jamie challenged the ball at the sideline as Bethanie hit the winner anyway. His argument was that HE challenged so how could Bethanie have stopped play. The replay also showed that the disputed ball was indeed out. The umpire seemed to be calling the challenge as a hindrance and that was what was being disputed by Jamie and Bethanie. All irrelevant in the end.

I also think Foxsports got its headline very wrong! The match was not delayed because Jamie and Barbora were arguing! It was delayed as they awaited the supervisor to arrive to make a ruling. As they waited, Jamie and Barbora had a little spat at the net which, I believe, ended with a smile. Terrible reporting! Utterly cringeworthy.

Can't see what the fuss was about. Jamie challenges a shot so the rally ends with the shot being challenged. Anything shot playedafter that doesnt count. Barbora being angry that the supervisor overruled the umpire could only be seen as disappointment that they'd lose the point they'd been incorrectly given.

I heard on radio five live about Ram and Salisbury winning it. So pleased for them, especially Joe. I heard Joe's interview on radio five live and he was asked if he'll be playing the doubles at the Olympics with Andy Murray. Joe's reply was he would like to see Andy back playing and for Andy to remain fit and healthy. I later saw Joe on the BBC's breakfast news and he held the trophy. He claimed it was a surreal experience winning his first Grand Slam trophy.
